So I have found a new project to invest all my time and creative energy into.
So about a few months ago, I started coming up with this idea that involved me and my friends, and it was really just a joke of a story. Most of it meant to be funny. Fast forward a few months and I'm running low on inspiration, but feel the overwhelming urge to write. So I pull out my chromebook and start making spreadsheets and writing in a notebook. Within a week, I have a map, a government, and characters to fill up an imaginary land and move along a plot line. Give it another week, and I have worked out every last detail of this story and begun writing.
So I posted the prologue and small part of chapter 1.
Now I'm writing as many pages as I can and drawing the characters.
So I've started my new project and here I am. I hope to bring more attention to my story over time and that others will fall in love with it as much as I have. So please, to all my followers, check out the small excerpts I've given you and give me a week and character pictures and profiles will be up.
I hope to keep this story rolling for a while and that it brings attention and fans, as all I've ever wanted to do is write a story that people love and want to read.

It's Official!

So I now have the most amazing news (well more of an update on the current events of my life) but to me this is very amazing and important!
As of yesterday I am an official member of the college of my dreams (censored for safety). In the fall of this year I will begin at this university as an official art student, studying all forms of fine studio arts and working towards a B.F.A (Bachelor of Fine of Arts) and hopefully be on my way to an M.F.A (Master of Fine Arts).
I know this isn't the most interesting to some of you, however, I want it documented on here that this is what I will be doing for the next four years and I am beyond excited!
Now to get all cheesy, I see some people who have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their lives, and I'm lucky enough to know because I found this website six years ago when I was just a seventh grader and liked drawing but never realized it could be something serious. All because of artists who probably don't even know I exist, I am following my heart and spending my time bettering myself professionally - something I never thought I'd want to do.
To those artists who inspired me to be an artist (and don't even know it) I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You will never know how much you have touched my soul and changed my life. And I hope to one day inspire people with my art to do the same. What a beautiful cycle if you think about it.
Thank you thank you thank you! You've opened up a world to me that I could now never imagine not being part of! Here's to the next four years!

A Bout of Insanity

So lately I have been struck with just an amazing idea (In my mind at least) because in reality it is a horrible idea and is going to kill me since I'm crazy enough to actually do it.
So first lets say this, I am very into the zodiacs right now (shocker right?) well I got this horrendously stupid idea to draw every zodiac of the many different cultures. To give you an idea - here is my to do list for that
So twelve is the magic number and is what most of them are (a few have more or less) so lets say 12 just for a number, times 10...and oh look at that 120 drawings. And da da da DA I haven't even finished the Western Zodiacs
Next on my to do list is actually a more daunting task because this one has no parameters, no inspiration to already look off of NOPE, I have decided to draw a portrait of all the OC's I have (Marked and others alike) and while I'm doing that I thought "oh what the hell, lets bury myself and do this as well" YES MY WOMEN WARRIOR SERIES IS MAKING ITS COMEBACK, I still have quite a few girls to draw, and if that's not enough (because I'm my father's daughter and love love love creating more and more work for myself) I am going to draw my male Marked characters are warriors as well, because I adore my boys and they need love!
That list is what scares me more than anything because those drawings have to come right from my mind with no help or support what-so-ever (save for the amazing ChocolatePretzel97)

About the OC's...

so I'm sure you've all noticed how much I've been sketching/drawing/editing pictures of my OC's, and I notice that interaction with my watchers goes quite downhill when that happens, and not to mention I got a few notes saying they sucked and I should go back to fanart. So lets begin...
First off, I love drawing my OC's because I love writing about/creating them and developing them.
-I draw them because I know them, they're my creations
-When I'm attempting fanart I get major mental blocks and don't know how to proceed because there are only so many ways you can draw the same character after EVERYBODY else has.
-My OC's are important to me because I gave them life and personality, hardships and happiness
-This is MY account, I will draw whatever I want, if you don't like it, THEN DON'T FOLLOW ME
-I'm really going crazy with the sketches of them because I am writing their story as we speak. I have been for three (almost four) years. So I will draw them because they take up the most permanent residence in the creative aspect of my mind
-I post the sketches to keep my account active, I don't even put HALF of them on here! Cause I know you don't want to see them
-I was also hopeful that maybe, just maybe you'd be interested, maybe ask about them, ask about the book, and when the book would finally be done and published you'd be excited and want to read it
-If you want to see fanart ASK NICELY, as a request, say you'd like to see them in my style and I probably will attempt them. I'm unbelievable understanding if you are nice and polite.
-Finally, I will continue to post them, I will do what I please with MY ART. I may post 10 sketches of the same character if I so desire to.
The point is, I've moved away from fanart because drawing other's famous characters does not interest me as it used to. I like drawing the more obscure characters because then I am free to choose how to see them. So you will not see Percy Jackson fanart, you might see fanart from Falling Kingdoms, or some other book that hardly has a fandom. To me those bigger name books are so overdone with their fanart that I can't see them as I used to, I see them as other people have drawn them. I know that sounds so uncreative, but it's true. I also draw my OC's because no one knows about them and I feel it's up to me to make a name for them.
And I just got back to the woman warriors series (AND MY SCANNER IS WORKING AGAIN YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!!) so expect good jpegs and fierce killer women in REAL armor to start popping up again!
